Digitalme + Credly

About Digitalme.Credly

US Digital credential pioneer Credly have formed a partnership with Digitalme, a City & Guilds Group business, to expand the use of digital credentials in Europe.

The collaboration further expands Credly's international operations and enhances the technology underpinning Digitalme and City & Guilds Group solutions. As part of this international expansion, Credly has built a dedicated European-based data centre, which extends its secure credential cloud infrastructure to support Digitalme operations and help organisations based in Europe comply with strict EU data protection regulations.

Digitalme will work directly with organisations who enable skills development to help design and implement achievement and recognition systems, ranging from internal workforce development solutions to transnational standards for specific job roles and industry associations, as exclusive reseller, using technology powered by Credly under a jointly branded Digitalme.Credly EEA hosted replica of the US version.

About Digitalme

Digitalme is a City & Guilds Group Business and our people and technology are driving the adoption of digital credentials, to close the gap between the skills employers need and the skills they can see. Digital credentials use the open badge standard, a universal format for framing, capturing and sharing all skills and achievements. For more information on Open Badges please visit:

We got here after the City & Guilds Group set up a dedicated digital credentialing services business in June 2016. The business was formed after two open badge pioneers, Digitalme and Makewaves were acquired, combined with some forward thinking individuals from City & Guilds.

Together we are giving individuals the opportunity to grow their careers by allowing them, through credentialing, to showcase, prove, manage and share their skills. And in a way that is robust, trusted and secure.

Organisations already working with Digitalme to digital credentials, include: hundreds of Schools and Colleges, O2, Siemens, World Chefs, Coventry University, ILM, JISC and the NHS.
